DAMagedOpt was founded by a mechanical engineer specialized in hydraulic turbine dynamics. After years of watching hydropower plants leave millions in revenue on the table — while simultaneously accelerating mechanical wear — the mission became clear: use AI to find the sweet spot between maximum energy production and minimum structural damage.

Our name captures everything we do in three layers. DAM, because we optimize hydropower dams. Damaged, because we predict and prevent the mechanical damage that shortens turbine life. Opt, because we compute the mathematically optimal operating point — every 15 minutes, for every turbine.
